This past week Chanel opened up a new concept boutique on the celebrities favorite street to shop, Robertson Boulevard. And here is Nicollette Sheridan showing all of her gorgeous glory for the Chanel opening. I do love to slam this girl, she is the housewife we all love to hate, but if I can look half as good as her when I am 58, I’ll be a happy woman.

Nicollette went simple with the hair here so that more attention could be paid to her gorgeous legs and designer threads. Her long blonde locks are pulled back into a tight updo, and she has used her layers to maintain some face framing effects by pulling her bangs out.

To get a tight updo, you want to ensure that you use a loose elastic at the back so that your do is not too tight. If you go too tight you are going to end up with the unsightly bumps on the top of your head which, unless you undo the updo, can’t be remedied. Pull your hair back tightly, and use a flat paddle brush to sleek down the sides and the crown of your hair, and either roll into a bun, or pin up in a chignon. If you are wearing a killer outfit like Nicollette here, how you pin your hair will be irrelevant. Use some spray gloss once your do is done to give an added sleekness to your look, and flat iron your bangs so they are shaped in the front exactly as you want them to be. Extra hold spray on your bangs for the finishing touch.

   She’s absolutely fab for her age. I bet she’s one of the celebrities who have a case of Purple in their pantry. Good genes helps, and she’s got plenty, but antioxidants never hurt!
