With talent oozing out of every cell in this teensy girl’s body, it is no surprise that she was enlisted for an elite position on the judges panel at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Here is Natalie Portman arriving as a festival juror at the Festival and as usual, she has styled her tiny frame immaculately. Natalie is dressed here in shorts by Jenni Kayne that she paired with a Rotter and Friends T-shirt, underneath a jacket by Lanvin. The shoes, naturally, are from her own line for Te Casan. And yes, Natalie is one of those celebs that is not just a name on a clothing line, she is very hands on. The shoes that Natalie designs are all in support of her favorite cause, The Nature Conservancy. It’s true that Natalie does not make a cent off her own design label, as all, meaning 100% of the proceeds from the sale of her beautiful shoes go towards The Conservancy, an organization committed to protecting the ecology. And that’s not all. When she does sway for shoes other than her own line they have to be 100% animal free. Her favorite places to buy shoes then? Either Target or Stella McCartney, another designer with a stance on animal free products. So yes, when she’s not donating the proceeds from her own shoe line to charity, you may just catch her at the bargain bin at Target. You never know!
