Fergie Maintains Long Locks In a Jog

Fergie is seen here stepping out and heading for a jog near her home in Los Angeles. As we know, Fergie is soon to be Mrs. Josh Duhamel, so she must needs to maintain her already beautiful figure for any wedding bells up ahead. When the temperatures climb, dealing with long hair and a workout can be a real nuisance. You have the sweat accumulating from your workout, while at the same time the heat from the sun is piling it on as well.

Whether you workout indoors or out, it is necessary to maintain long locks during your exercise program. Too much heat will dry out your hair and create split ends, or worse, breakage. Not to mention, the wilt-out you get from matted sweaty hair during a workout can be wellll…not very pretty. Prep your hair before your workout to ensure it sustains the least amount of damage.

Pulling your hair back in an easy ponytail like Fergie is an excellent way to keep it off your neck and your face and neck cool. Before you do this however, run your hair brush with some jojobo oil and brush you hair back into the ponytail. This will create some instant moisturizer onto your hair right before you head into the heat.

You also want to spray some anti-humectant onto your locks before you head out for the same reason. This will combat the frizz and prevent your hair from locking in the heat. An added bonus would be using a stretchy cotton headband along your hair line at the front. This will soak up extra perspiration and keep your hair from getting sweaty greasy at the same time.
