I have very curly hair also...word of advice...make sure you blow out your hair first...make sure your hair is wet as if you came out of the shower...if you want serious shine use this Dominican product called Silicon Mix...they now sell it at drug stores...a hair treatment that really repairs hair...also make sure to get a good trim every 3 months...Do not use gel at all for your locks, instead use Lo reals smooth and sleek hair cream and vo5 vivacious curls mousse to finish, this way when you decide to style your hair straight it is not dehydrated from harsh products....
For all of you lovely ladies...take vitamins high in Biotin...it helps the growth and shine of hair and skin...remember beauty comes from the inside and flows out!
