When getting ready to go back to school the first thing many people worry about is how they will look on that first day. Updating your hairstyle before the beginning of school can be a great way to change your overall image and give your confidence level a boost. Short Hair
If you are looking for a cut that is stylish and easy to maintain then a short hair style is a perfect fit. A short cut will highlight you facial features more than any other cut. If you have striking features this is an excellent choice. A pixie cut is short all over and can look great with almost no work. Simply wash your hair and then let it air dry, which shouldn’t take long because of the length. If you want a little more style you can finger comb styling mousse throughout to make it spike around your face.

Shoulder Length Hair
Shoulder length hair is great for people who are not quite ready to make the leap into a short cut but who want more versatility than long hair provides. A shoulder length bob is the perfect back to school cut because of its versatility. Many people want to put layers in shoulder length hair to give it more bounce. However, by choosing a bob your hair makes a more dramatic statement and is just as versatile. With the bob you can let it air dry and run some curl enhancer through it to give it a tousled beach look if you want a casual style. If you want something a bit more polished you can use a flat iron to straighten your hair. If you want something more extravagant you can curl it for a halo of ringlets. The possibilities are endless for this classic bob.

Long hair is a very stylish and youthful choice. If you have extremely long hair it is best to get layers cut into it to keep it from becoming to lifeless. With moderate layers throughout you will ensure your hair always looks full. There are quite a few options to consider when you have long layered hair but most take a bit of time and effort. One easy style is the low double ponytail. Part your hair in the middle and comb it smooth to either side just below the ear. Pull hair into a ponytail and brush ends. This shows off your hair while keeping it manageable.
