The always lovely and talented Jewel is not one of those celebrities that you will find making sure she is ‘seen’ in all the right places, but that doesn’t make her any less celebrated or talented. And you would never guess by her edgy popular music that this girl is actually very down to earth, and one of the most good natured starlets you will see here.

Jewel recently had to drop out of Dancing with the Stars due to her leg injury, a fractured tabia in both of her legs. Poor thing! So when she was spotted at the STK restaurant in Hollywood this week, toting none other than a leg crutch as her latest accessory, she simply smiled for the cameras and handled it like the gem that she is. And a little multi-fractured bone injury is not one to keep this girl from getting styled, and here she has gone for a simple look that is sleek, chic, and so easy to maintain.

Jewel’s one layered medium length cut is complementing her features with its sleek, straight look and this style is not only contemporary this spring, but also one of the easiest hairstyles to style. If you have a one length cut, don’t think that your look is boring at all, as there is so much you can do with it. To style this look, you only need some straightening serum on towel dried hair.

Blow dry your hair with a flat paddled brush and a blow dryer, paying attention to give some lift and volume at the crown. If your hair is not straight enough to your liking following your blow dry, use a flat iron to smooth over your hair and make it nice and sleek.

As always, when you are ironing, you want to be sure to iron underneath your top sections first for a sleek, smooth look that is full of volume and movement.
